STAY AWAY
Have been waiting over a week for account activation - money has been taken from my credit card, several days ago.
All support requests do not answer any of my questions, and almost look like they maybe auto replies. I even received exactly the same response from two different questions.!!
Live Chat has been down for at least A WEEK, none of their supposed support claims are turs... it took in excess of 23hrs to answer most of my emails.
Called them on the phone... left message... no response...
imhosted.com - yeah but no longer with them!

I sended to them (imhosted.com) 17 messages, by phon they give you "live message".
And they don't feedback, but when you setup , they very Fast.

Ater I finished such paypal payment, I immediately send an e-mail and response back to you concerning my payment on MAR 06.
2. As I have also state in tons of my tickets again and again on the passing week, if the above mentioned paypal payment of MAR 06 is not good enough to clear up my due, I allow your company to charge the due from my register credit card (last four digit: 5XXX). My credit card details should include in your company's data base (MBill?).
3. With regard to your team's [imh #PST-98663-926][imh #EJP-87796-171]reply, I don't know why your company still havn't received my above mentioned paypal payment on Mar 06 or why not automatically charge from my registered credit card as I instruct in tons of my tickets. Instead, your company still keep response to me that I have due of USD$ 33.95 and even more...inform me to check the Modern Bills (by that, I don't know what a Modern Bill is).
4. I really don't know what I should do to paid for the due as mentioned by your company anymore cause I had already done and comply to what your company asked me to do and my account is still being suspened till now for a week!!!
5. Please kindly check whether your company has received my above mentioned paypal payment on Mar 06 or please kindly charge any due that I have owned in my account by my registered credit card A.S.A.P.
Then PLEASE REACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY!
P.S. Please kindly stand im my position and have a thought on the whole case, then you might fully understand why I send tons of tickets just almost like spamming action. Actually I have no choice and I really hate of doing this. I just simply wish my account back and keep the relation with your company.

I've been with them for about 9 months now. At first, they were awesome! No downtime, no complaints. The past 2 months have been a different story. My PHPbb forum goes down oftena and e-mail is intermittent at best. The tech support responses are always in horrible english and rarely answer a direct questions. I'm currently looking for a new host. I'll give them a "C" rating.

There seems to be a lot of mixed reasons. My duration with IMHOSTED has been pleasant and wonderful. I was initially attracted to them because of their nice looking site and lots of space/transfer offerings ;) I have 2 sites at IMHOSTED since 2002 and plan to open another new site in a few weeks time.

I have a website with this company for over 6 months. In the beginning their support was just average but now it has dramatically improved. When I had an issue it took 6 hours for an average reply. Now all my tickets get replied within 10 minutes -- sometimes even shorter. They have completely turned around 360 degrees. Another good feature about this company is their network. It hardly goes down and transfers are incredibly fast. For those looking for reliable web hosting I would highly recommend Imhosted. The only complaint I have is they do not offer dedicated servers. I give them A- rating.

I have been with ImHosted.com for about 2 years now. At first there service was fairly poor however, they seem to have gotten better now. Servers are down less than before and their techs usually reply fairly fast (although some of the replies are fairly awkward). The only problem is that they don't provide live support but other than that, the service itself is good.

For the 2 plus years I have had imhosted they have gone from good to awful. Our email has been semi-operational for months. We send emails that never arrive and have clients who send us emails that are refused. Sometimes we do not even know this has happened until we get an angry call from someone. We have had to revert to yahoo mail (for a business?) to assure we get our mail. Support is a joke and must be done via support ticket. Support people cannot communicate in a complete sentence and have never been correct about what problems are. In the past 3 months I have at least 30 tickets open. Every solution by imhosted has resulted in another problem. I am in the middle of transferring my information to another company with the exact same control panel, features, and less cost. In addition they have live support - something imhosted advertised when I signed up but never existed.
Stay away from imhosted. The frustration is just not worth your time.

I had an account with imhosted for over a year. There was occasional downtime and a couple continuous downtimes for over a day. In my experience, imhosted's technical support team is incompetent. They speak broken English and usually require at least 3 or 4 replies to get a problem fixed. They provided little or no explanation of the downtime.

Been there done that, a total negative experience for me. I have 2 accounts there gold & advanced, I cant wait to cancel my accounts there I'm still looking for someone good. I checked out other people in the same IBX - Equinix datacenter like Rackspace(same floorplan?), they are king dick but a rip off 150 pounds a month. They only do dedicated Im spewing about that. I found another shared host that has servers at rack space, but they are pricey too. Yahoo is in the same data center too. no shit They offer the best web hosting package I can find, BUT I dug deep in the support files and you have to rename cgi's back to .pl? Im not rebuilding my site to host there, another spew. Every body else is a reseller for a wanker company that has cpanel or ensim 100+ per server. after 6 months of research. Summary, you get what you pay for dont pay less than 70US per month or your playing with fire or getting crap. If you get more than 250mb disk space for 40 a month you host probably sucks the egg. I hope I am wrong. Still Looking? Still trying out hosts. if you are hosting nothing important go to imhosted.com they are good for that... I am starting to look at the high end hosts in the adult industry, you seem to get $200 per month quality for $40-70 a month.?? The whole web hosting industry is full of b*sh*t. If you need enterprise hosting dont decide in a day! Yahoo hosting is the best and high end porn data centers. They are more professional than 99% of web hosts. ????

yes, too good to be true. i didnt even get to try the service. 5 days since i signed up and they still couldnt get my account accessible. support was awful. marginal answers, poor response time, no escalation, no phone support.
completely useless. webintellects is only marginally more expensive but a whole world of difference in competence.

I had a brief stint with imhosted because they offer a lot for a little bit of money. It seemed too good to be true. It was. My site was always down, I was losing email, and their support was MIA. My final straw came when my password inexplicably changed. I couldn't access my Control Panel for a week even though I contacted their support and sales staff daily via email and phone. The "support" department on their phone number only takes voice mail.
