Advice from a full time designer and coder ... Hostway has great options for their prices, but their customer service and response time for serious issues (databases, security etc) is REALLY BAD and SLOW. They've reset the permissions on a large ecommerce site I run many, many times - each time they breach the security of hidden folders and when I ask them to fix it, they don't respond (phone or email) for hours and hours. I'm in the midst of deciding on who to move on to next, because having to baby 4 thousand files every day and check their permissions is just not worth it.

I use Hostway for all my web site hosting. They may not be the cheapest, but they provide the best balance of service, support and quality. I haven't had a problem yet!

A great, reliable hosting company, with 1 glarin exception. The basic Spam filtering is possibly the worst I've evern seen. Hostway has a better one, which has a $30 yearly fee. I hope they change that policy.

Best reseller program I have ever been involved with. Their structure makes it easy to make money, unlike other web hosts, Hostway keeps your costs down, and your profits up!
